Orange and Black Tufted Billow Weave Cake

I made this cake for a very close friend who wanted something special for her birthday. I had always wanted to try my hands on the tufted billow weave cake design and so I seized the opportunity to do so with this cake. It was a learning experience for me, one filled with both excitement and nervousness, but in the end, I was quite happy with the result and so was she.

The cake inside is a Nigerian Cake frosted with vanilla buttercream. The design work was done with marshmallow fondant.
