Diaper Bag Cake
A very close friend of mine was expecting his first child and I knew I had to make a cake for his wife’s bridal shower. I settled for a Diaper bag cake as it was something I have been longing to do for a very long time. We were not sure about the sex of the child and the challenge then was to make a cake which will be appropriate for both a boy and a girl. Making this bag was quite interesting as I had to try a few new tricks. At the end of the day, the cake turned out great and yeah, the lovely couple now has a lovely baby girl.
The cake itself is a Nigerian Cake frosted with Vanilla Buttercream. All the design work was done with Marshmallow Fondant.
