Two Tier Princess Cake

This is a two tier princess cake which was made for, well, a princess. The cake has rose petals on the bottom tier while the top tier is designed with pink damask patterns. In front of the cake is a gorgeous pink bow and sitting on top of the cake is a delicious pink tier with gold details. What could be more “princessy” than this?

The cake itself is made up of two types of sponges. The top tier is a Nigerian Wedding Cake (Recipe soon) while the bottom tier is a Nigerian Cake. Both tiers were frosted with Vanilla Buttercream. The dimensions of the tiers are 7 and 10 inches. The design work on the cake was done with marshmallow fondant. To read more about this cake and the process of how it was made, click here.
