Good evening terry,i have a question i have searched the internet endlessly for but i cant seem to find answers.Theres this white fat i bought i was told it works for butter icing but have tried using it and its so runny and dosent hold up properly and most people i’ve asked dont even know what it is could you kindly educate me on the use of vegetablefat.plz note its not crisco and it doesn’t have oil. Thanks

Hi. I think you might be referring to Trex which is a vegetable baking fat. Unfortunately I have never worked with it before and so have no opinion about it. It is used mostly by bakers in the UK. A quick remedy for lose buttercream frosting is adding more icing sugar (although this might make it too sweet).
