Chocolate Log Cake
This is a cake I made for Easter, I had always wanted to make a log cake which is traditionally made during Christmas. Well, I guess we can enjoy it at Easter now too.
The cake itself is a Chocolate Sponge Cake filled with Chocolate Whipped Cream and frosted with Chocolate Ganache. A post on how to make the various components of the cake can be found here.
The cute bunnies add a lot of character to the cake. I have a tutorial on how to make fondant bunnies here.
This cake was finished with a fondant butterfly and a couple of fondant toad stools.
