Bassinet Cake
This bassinet cake was made for a baby shower. As with my other baby shower cakes like the cot cakes, it is particularly fit for this purpose. This cake is a replication of another design I found online. I really did have a lot of fun creating it as it afforded me the opportunity of trying out new techniques.
The cake inside is a Coconut Sponge Cake frosted with Cream Cheese Frosting and toasted coconuts. All the design work was carried out with marshmallow fondant.
